Routebeschrijving

By car:

From Rotterdam:

When you come from Rotterdam, follow the A15, there are two possible routes.
The first possibility is to take exit 16 (directly after the Botlektunnel). You firstly follow the signs directing to Spijkenisse, when you drive on the groene kruisweg you take a right turn to direction Geervliet/Hellevoetsluis. You follow the groene kruisweg until beyond the junction with the N57, ans then at the roundabout go straight ahead. After the second trafficlight you presort to go left after the third trafficlight G.J.van de boogaardweg. You drive along the Watertoren, and the next road on your second hand go right. This road leads you along the Shell-station (Right), and the mail office (left), after about one hundred meters you find the entrance to the Regional Archives at your left.

The second possibility from Rotterdam is to follow A15 until beyond Rozenburg. After passing the Thomassentunnel you take the junction direction Brielle/Hellevoetsluis and continue your route following the N57. Go right at the trafficlights , to direction Brielle. At the roundabout go straight ahead. After the second trafficlight you presort to go left after the third trafficlight G.J.van de boogaardweg. You drive along the Watertoren, and the next road on your second hand go right. This road leads you along the Shell-station (Right), and the mail office (left), after about one hundred meters you find the entrance to the Regional Archives at your left.

From Goeree-Overflakke / Zeeland:
Once oyou passd the Haringvlietdam, you follow the N57 till the trafficlights at the junction direction Brielle. Here you take a left turn, and go straight passing the roundabout. After the second trafficlight you presort to go left after the third trafficlight G.J.van de boogaardweg. You drive along the Watertoren, and the next road on your second hand go right. This road leads you along the Shell-station (Right), and the mail office (left), after about one hundred meters you find the entrance to the Regional Archives at your left.

At the Regional Archives is sufficient (free) parkingspace

Public transport

In the immediacy of archive there are several busstops. From Spijkenisse take bus line 103. This bus leaves by day four times per hour. The bus 89 drives from Schiedam NS by means of Rozenburg to Brielle.
